Pakistan International Airlines announces the suspension of flights from Kabul

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Thursday suspended flights to Afghanistan's capital Kabul. The PIA has taken this decision after Taliban officials raised questions on ticket prices. The Taliban government had asked PIA to reduce the prices. After which, the PIA announced that due to the strictness of Taliban officials, the flight operations to Kabul were being suspended from today. According to media reports, flights flying from Kabul to Islamabad cost up to $2500, while earlier it was $120 to $150. Most of the international airlines no longer fly to Afghanistan since the Taliban took over control on August 15th.
