IPL 2021 Qualifier 2: KKR beat DC by 3 wickets to enter finals

After a stellar performance by the bowlers and top-order batsmen, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Delhi Capitals by three wickets in the second qualifier match of IPL 2021 on Wednesday in Sharjah. In this match, Kolkata won the toss and bowled first, restricting Delhi to only 135 runs for five wickets. In the second innings, KKR's Venkatesh Iyer (55) and Shubman Gill (46) led the team close to victory by sharing a partnership of 96 runs in 74 balls for the first wicket. The team successfully chased down the target for the loss of seven wickets with one ball remaining. In the final match of the season, KKR will now face three-time champions Chennai Super Kings on Friday.
