Jammu and Kashmir: Army launches massive search operation on Rajouri-Poonch border

After the martyrdom of five soldiers, including a JCO, in Poonch, the army has launched a search operation to eliminate the terrorists hiding in the forests between the border districts of Rajouri and Poonch. According to army officials, after cordoning off the entire area of ​​the army in the forest near Pangai area of ​​Rajouri district this morning, a search operation was launched. A defense spokesperson had said that a group of heavily armed terrorists opened fire on a search party of the Army in Surankote in the early hours of Monday. After this encounter, the terrorists had fled to the nearby Pangai forest, which comes under the jurisdiction of Thanamandi in Rajouri.
