Petrol and diesel prices hiked for the 8th time in October

The oil marketing companies have increased the price of petrol and diesel for the fifth consecutive day on Saturday. So far in the month of October, petrol and diesel prices have been hiked for the eighth time today. In the national capital, petrol became costlier by 30 paise and diesel by 35 paise per liter. Now, the retail price of petrol is Rs 103.84 and diesel costs Rs 92.47 per liter. While in Mumbai, petrol price has been hiked by 29 paise to cost Rs 109.83 and diesel by 37 paise per litre to cost Rs 100.29 per liter. Meanwhile in Chennai and Kolkata, petrol is priced at Rs 101.27 and Rs 104.52 per litre respectively.
