Hungary and Serbia recognize Indian COVID-19 vaccination certificate
After United Kingdom, countries like Hungary and Serbia have also agreed to recognize India's COVID-19 vaccination certificate. Giving this information, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said that the recognition of vaccination certificates will help people to move to other countries for education, business, tourism and other such things in the post-pandemic world. He tweeted, "Yet another country recognizes India's vaccination certificate! Traditional friendship with Serbia translates into mutual recognition of Covid-19 vaccination certificates!" The developments come a day after the UK government decided to remove the requirement of mandatory quarantine for vaccinated Indian travellers.
