(Photo: Getty Images) Over 10 per cent of employees working in Freshworks Inc, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company, have become â€˜crorepatisâ€™ after it got listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange in the US. Freshworks Inc is the first Indian SaaS company to get listed on Nasdaq after it started operations in Chennai with only six members in 2010. On Thursday, the companyâ€™s market capitalisation crossed $13 billion after it made its debut on Nasdaq and around 500 employees of the company working in India â€” around 12 per cent of the total 4,300 employees â€” became crorepatis. Of the 500 employees, roughly 70 are below the age of 30.
